Dear Neighbor, I hope you had a relaxing and refreshing 4th of July. I wanted to give you a little update of what has been going on with me. I was saddened to hear of the death of Trooper Clark who was tragically killed in Corning this past week. While my thoughts and prayers go out each time a member of law enforcement is killed in the line of duty – this tragedy struck especially close to not only my home but heart. Trooper Clark bravely put his life on the line to protect his community and sh... Read more

Dear Neighbor, It has been a while since I have written updates to share with you all. Posted in Weekly Newsletter on March 12, 2018 | Preview rr

Dear Neighbor, As many of you many have seen, President Trump has announced that he will be making an effort to renegotiate our dated trade policies. In a recent visit to the White House, I conveyed my support for the need to have fair trade policies that put American manufacturers on an even playing field. We need to have strong negotiators at the table to make sure that American interests and American workers are the top priority when we negotiate with our worldwide trading partners. I believe... • Tax Reform Works
Posted in Weekly Newsletter on February 19, 2018 | Preview rr

Dear Neighbor, Tax reform has proven to be transformational for not only our region, but across the country. Over 300 companies have announced bonuses, wage increases, and better benefits for their employees. Tax reform is empowering businesses to use their profits to make themselves more competitive in the way THEY see fit. I saw this firsthand when I visited the Starbucks in Jamestown last week. Starbucks has decided to accelerate their paid family leave as a result of the new law. These are f... Read more

  • Our Greatest Threat is our National Debt
Posted in Weekly Newsletter on February 12, 2018 | Preview rr

Dear Neighbor, This week, both the House and Senate passed a budget agreement that I could not support. The plan would add $1.7 to $2.1 trillion dollars to our national debt over the next ten years. To me, this is not acceptable. I ran for congress to help fix the debt problem, not add to it. It is easy for those in Washington to continue with the status quo, making it hard to get to the root cause of this problem-which is uncontrolled spending. I want to emphasize that I support funding for our... Read more
