Reed Welcomes the Very Reverend Father DeSocio of Elmira to Washington

Tom Reed welcomes the Very Reverend Father John A. DeSocio of Elmira to the U.S. House of Representatives in Washington, D.C. Father DeSocio provided the opening prayer of the House session on Wednesday, April 20, 2016.

“It’s a privilege and a pleasure to host the Very Reverend Father John A. DeSocio today.  His commitment to his faith, our country and our community is truly an example for all of us. We care about the work leaders like Father DeSocio are undertaking in our communities and applaud his efforts.”

Prior to administering the opening prayer on the House floor Reed, Father DeSocio, Speaker Paul Ryan and House Chaplain Father Patrick Conroy were able to meet briefly.
