REP. REED DELIVERS GRANT TO FINGER LAKES COMMUNITY HEALTH
Penn Yan, NY – Today, Rep. Tom Reed announced a $2.3 million grant for Finger Lakes Community Health. Finger Lakes Community Health is a federally qualified health center with several locations in the Finger Lakes region. The grant was announced by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
“Making sure that our rural areas have access to quality health care is something we care about,” said Tom. “This grant will empower this health care center and will enhance their services to this community.”
“This funding is critical to our ability to provide comprehensive and accessible, quality healthcare to the communities that we serve,” Mary Zelazny, Finger Lakes Community Health chief executive officer. “Additionally, it allows us to put our health care centers in our rural communities and serve as an economic engine by hiring and spending in those communities.”
