During this season of light and love, I wanted to take a moment and reflect on the holidays. During the dark and cold of winter, many take heart in the warmth and joy of the holidays. These days, the radio waves are filled with old Christmas favorites like “Jingle Bells” and “White Christmas,” while the streets are decked out in garlands and lights. It’s the little things like this that make the holidays a bright spot in the middle of winter.
Another highlight is spending time with family and friends during this time. We spend our time together sharing our memories of the past and enjoying the present moments with a grateful heart. Taking time out of our hectic schedules to appreciate the important things in our lives is what matters most. It is my hope that you, too, share your time with others this season, reflect fondly on the year that is quickly ending and embrace the hope and opportunity of the New Year that is fast approaching.
