Tom Reed Tours the Cummins Factory in Lakewood
Yesterday Tom Reed met with members of the Cummins team to discuss some of the challenges and opportunities associated with their production activity and opportunities for manufacturing not only in NY-23, but across our country. In addition, he discussed the Revitalize American Manufacturing and Innovation Act, or “RAMI” legislation he sponsored that recently passed with bipartisan support in the House of Representatives.
“The challenges facing U.S. manufacturers are urgent,” Reed said. “This legislation will enable us to maintain our global leadership in manufacturing, create jobs, and care for an industry that employs over 12 million Americans.”
